Extending Our Reach

General meeting are bi-weekly throughout the school year.

About Hmong In Health

HIH was created in 2003 to help expose students to health awareness and professions to increase the number of students interested in the health field. Today the club is composed of about 30 students, whom have either graduated from or are currently attending the University of California, Davis. The members range from first-year students to graduate, medical, and resident students.

Seeing that so few Hmong students are interested in the health professions, our goal is to recruit and expose students to the health field. Both students and the general Hmong population lack knowledge on health issues and education; therefore, our main purpose is to provide them with that information. Their knowledge can be improved through teachings from the Hmong in Health club.
